Monday - We played musical chairs to review the MESS way of revising essays.  We practiced MESS with a paragraph about Hurricane Katrina.

Tuesday - We put everything together (annotation, MESS, OREO) and wrote about a poem of choice.

Wednesday - We took notes on the Anglo Saxon period.

Thursday - We practiced writing Kennings in the style of the Anglo Saxons.

Friday - We read examples of Anglo Saxon riddles and wrote them in groups.  We read them by the "campfire" in the room.
